Mae Tang Orchids.

The business is run by Peter Williams who has been growing and studying Asian orchid species for over twenty-five years.

We import plants from our own orchid nursery in Thailand which was established in October 1990.

The nursery is situated in Northern Thailand in the district of Mae Tang, which

is about 40 km North of Chiang Mai. We chose this area because the climate in the North of the country has a distinct cool season - which allows us to successfully cultivate a wide range of Asian orchid species.

Our main specialty is growing Thai orchid species from flasks and our aim is

to offer mature flowering size plants.

Although we are specializing in growing species on our nursery, we have several reliable contacts amongst the orchid growers in the North of Thailand, who can also supply us with a wide range of hybrids.
